Bicosome was founded by a team of women skin scientists from the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), who invented Bicosomes®.

Driven by the ambition to translate years of research into effective, technologydriven solutions for the cosmetics industry, these scientists founded Bicosome to bring advanced skin science closer to real-world applications.

Our technologies are designed to work with the skin’s own biology, supporting and enhancing its natural processes rather than disrupting them. We believe that the most effective cosmetic technologies are those that understand how the skin works and interact with it in a respectful and intelligent way.
